Terms and conditions
Last updated: 5 September 2026
These terms apply when you use gdos.uk, a website introducing GDOS development services to businesses in the Philippines and the United Kingdom. GDOS is operated by G Chisholm, with G Alba as local manager in the Philippines, and is a sister brand of Geesc Online. Questions can be sent to hello@gdos.uk.
By continuing to use the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website. Our privacy policy explains how personal information is handled.
Information and examples
The website gives general information about possible services and ways of working. It is not professional, legal, tax or accounting advice. A particular feature, integration, device, price, timescale or offline capability is included only when it has been agreed for your project.
Interactive demos use fictional sample data. They do not place orders, take payments, reserve real appointment times or create accounting records. Demo prices are examples, not quotes for GDOS services.
Enquiries and project agreements
Preparing or sending an enquiry does not create a paid-work contract or oblige either of us to proceed. Any work will require a separate written agreement covering the parties, scope, fees, taxes, payment, delivery, ownership, confidentiality, support, cancellation, liability, governing law and dispute arrangements as appropriate.
If a separate project agreement conflicts with these website terms, that project agreement controls for the project. Nothing on this website is an offer that can be accepted merely by using the site or sending an email.
Images and selected work
The business scenes are AI-generated illustrations, not photographs of customers or endorsements. Featured Geesc Online projects are separate projects. Illustrative visual treatments should not be treated as exact screenshots, availability claims or promises about those products. Product names and marks belonging to others remain their property.
Acceptable use
You may use the site for lawful purposes. You must not:
- interfere with, damage or attempt unauthorised access to the site;
- introduce malicious code or use the site to harm another person;
- misrepresent your identity or send unlawful or abusive material; or
- copy, scrape or commercially reuse site content in a way that infringes intellectual property or other rights.
Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, the website's design, text, graphics and code are owned by or licensed to GDOS. You may view the site and make a reasonable personal or internal-business copy. No other licence is granted; ask before reusing content commercially.
Availability and external links
We try to keep the website useful, secure and accurate, but do not promise that it will always be available, error-free or current. We may change, suspend or remove website content. External websites are operated by others, and a link does not make us responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.
Responsibility
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for loss caused by relying on a fictional demo, general marketing content or a third-party website. We do not exclude or limit responsibility where doing so would be unlawful, including responsibility for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable.
These terms do not remove mandatory rights you may have under Philippine, UK or other applicable law. Any separate project agreement will identify its governing law and dispute forum; these website terms do not prevent a court or regulator with mandatory jurisdiction from acting.
Changes
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the website, our services or the law. The date above identifies the version currently in effect. Continued use after an update is subject to the revised terms.
